A vocal personality for youth inclusion in politics in Nigeria and Africa who also is the immediate past National Youth Leader of ADC, Pan African Youth Leader and Forbes under 30 nominee 2022 cohort, Barr Maurice Ebam, has predicted that 2023 general elections shall usher in a new era of the second generation of leaders in Nigeria politics and leadership.
The Forbes under 30 nominee under 2022 cohort authoritatively stated that a new Nigeria shall emerge from 2023 which will be led by strength of the youths.
He stated that Nigerian youths are now politically conscience compared to the era between 1999 to 2019.
He called his generation the EndSars generation that decided to get actively involved in politics noting that after the EndSars protest, instead of sitting down on the sidelines complaining, he decided to actively get involved in politics by joining a political party.
Barr. Maurice Oru Ebam stated that responsibility for the emergence of the second generation of leaders will be laden on the shoulders of the youths and women who are two of society most marginalized groups yet own the bulk of electoral strength in every given elections.
Barr. Maurice Oru Ebam said that 2023 general elections shall see the emergence of a new crop of generation of leaders and politicians in the political scene in Nigeria which birthed by the iconic EndSars protests.
The responsibility for the emergence of the second generation of leaders will be laden on the shoulders of youths and women.
