2024 Olympics: Nigeria’s Ezekiel Nathaniel Qualifies For 400m Hurdles Semis.

Nigeria’s athlete, Ezekiel Nathaniel, qualified for the semi-finals of the men’s 400m hurdles in his debut Olympic appearance on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Ezekiel Nathaniel finished second in heat 4 with a time of 48.32s, which is the fourth-fastest time of his career.

He secured an automatic spot, becoming the first Nigerian athlete in 12 years to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of Amaechi Morton at London 2012.

On the other hand, Chidi Okezie was unable to progress to the semi-finals of the men’s 400m, finishing fifth in the second heat of the repechage round with a time of 45.92s.

The 2024 Olympic Medals Table:
