Some crossdresser in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, have been seen in a video making the rounds on social media, stagging a protest demanding the immediate release of one of their own Bobrisky.

It would be recalled that Bobrisky, the self-acclaimed Mummy of Lagos was sentenced to six months imprisonment without the option of a fine for abusing the Naira.

The Federal High Court in Lagos delivered the judgment after he pleaded guilty to the criminal charge brought against him by the EFCC. The judge stressed that the ruling should act as a deterrent to others involved in similar activities.

However, Bobrisky born Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju during the court proceedings acknowledged his male identity and by extension was assigned a cell with other male inmates and a bed space at the Ikoyi custodial centre,

in a new video making the rounds online, some Ikorodu crossdressers in Lagos State were seen protesting for the release of Bobrisky who will be at the Ikoyi correctional centre till October 2024.

They were seen carrying placards with the inscription “Free Bobrisky”, and “Free Mummy of Lagos” among others as they want the government to forgive the crossdresser’s shortcomings.

The clip also captured the crossderssers in Ikorodu singing along as they staged the protest for the release of Bobrisky “Mummy of Lagos” as soon as possible.
