Nigerian have called for the arrest of Police Officers that was seen in a video that have since gone viral, protecting a young man to a party where he sprayed money.
There has been an uproar over a video that has since gone of a police operative seen protecting a young man to a party where he sprayed money.
The video had gone viral showing the young man who was escorted by a policeman, who opened the door of the jeep for him to enter.
The same clip later showed the young man among others spraying new notes on another young man with the policeman holding the bundles of new Naira notes for him.
The video has sparked widespread outrage with many calling on the police to open up on it.
Some of those who have spoken against it include an X user, Oluyemi Fasipe with the X handle @YemieFash, who wrote ” I want to know why
@officialEFCC will not invite this @PoliceNG man for questioning. I also want to know why
@PoliceNG_CRU. will not interview him immediately. I am waiting.”

If your officers won’t protect their own dignity by respecting themselves, maybe you should step in? This is not just an embarrassment to the policeman, it’s an embarrassment to the entire police force. Put a stop to this. Please.”
As at the time of filing this report, there was no response from the Nigeria Police Force.
Many of those who had commented on the video have tagged the police X handles while also calling on the Force Spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to speak up on the matter.
