Following the Supreme Court ruling that abrogated Caretaker Committee Chairmen to oversee the affairs of Local Government, the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission is set to begin the process of the conduct of election.
This is as the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission will from Tuesday begin interfacing with stakeholders preparatory to the conduct of the election.
In a statement issued to Newsmen and signed by the Chairman of SIEC, the Commission will on Tuesday start the process by meeting with the stakeholders.
The meeting is to brief political parties, stakeholders on the timetable and schedule for local Government election in the state.
