The operatives of Delta State Police Command Rapid Response Squad on stop and search duty along Kwale Road have arrested four suspected armed robbers.
The suspects include Savage Roland ‘m’ aged 26yrs, Clever Imonukore ‘m’ aged 29yrs, Isaac Umukoro, male, aged 49yrs, and Louis Opone ‘m’ aged 40yrs.
Raye24reporters learnt that the suspects were arrested on 25th July 2024, at about 18;30hours.
The Police also recovered from the suspects, two brand new pump action guns.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement signed and sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.
The Police image maker said, “On 25th July 2024, at about 1830hours, operatives of the Command’s Rapid Response squad while on stop and search duty along Kwale road, intercepted a Lexus 350 SUV, and upon search of the vehicle, two brand new pump action guns were recovered.”
According to him, “Four suspects namely; Savage Roland ‘m’ aged 26yrs from Afisere, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State, Clever Imonukore ‘m’ aged 29yrs, Isaac Umukoro ‘m’ aged 49yrs, and Louis Opone ‘m’ aged 40yrs were arrested.”
SP Edafe also said, “investigation is ongoing.”
