The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has filed a court application seeking to extend the detention of Abba Kyari former head of the IGP Intelligence Response Team in their facility.
The embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police has been under interrogation at the Headquarters of NDLEA alongside four other police officers that were indited in an alleged drug trafficking.
It was gathered that the agency gave the embattled police officer an asset verification form to fill and wants to take their time to verify the properties he claimed to have.
In respect to his continued detention at the facility of the law enforcement agency,
security has been tightened to ensure the suspects are broken out of detention.
