A family of five has been reportedly killed in a fatal road accident on Friday in Jigawa state. According to the report gathered the auto crash occurred around 6:03 pm, involving a long driver at Allan Dabo village in Dangyatin district in Miga Local Government Area of the state.
It was reliably gathered that at least five persons, including a nursing baby died in the accident, while at least two other persons, who sustained various degree of injuries and have been treated and discharged from the hospital.
The victim was in the company of members of his family. On reaching the Allan Dabo area, the driver lost control of the vehicle and fell into Alallabo water which resulted in serious injuries to him and his family.
Upon receiving of the report, a team of policemen visited the scene and victims were rushed to Primary Health Care Centre, (PHC) Miga, for treatment.
“Later, Ahmed Muhamnad Makama, 35, Isah Aliyu, 8 Zainab Aliyu, 4, Fatima Aliyu 6 and Abdullahi Aliyu, a two-month-old baby were confirmed and certified dead by a medical doctor, while Aliyu Salisu, Hafsa Aliyu aged 40 were treated and discharged.”
He added that the corpses were released to their relatives for burial, adding that the incident was under investigation.
