As crises deepens in the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC and the opposition the Peoples Democratic Party PDP now the New Nigeria Progressive Party NNPP is politically getting momentous in Jigawa state.
The chairman of New Nigeria Progressive Party Alhaji Gambo Ibrahim Alawo, said over 300 ,000 people suspected to be members of the APC and PDP recently dumped their parties and decamp to their party.
Alawo who was addressing journalist in Dutse shortly after their caucus meeting held at the party Head quarter in Dutse, said those who decamped from other parties have already register themselves with the party’s Head quarter in Abuja.
Assuring that very soon the party will organised a forum in Dutse to officially receive their registered members from the 27 local government areas in the state capitals Dutse
Alawo, however, assured that their party will takeover all the political seats right from the presidential seat down to councilors seat in Jigawa state and the country in general.
He charge interested people especially politician who indicate their interest in joining their party to follow the normal procedures to be registered as members of the party.
Assuring that the members who recently dumped their party and registered as new members will equally be treated like any other members of the party.
Adding that all members will have equal opportunity and equal right which is right to vote and right to contest for the party in the next coming up election
