The Jigawa state government has donated 27 motorcycles to butcher association in the state.
Speaking at the occasion, the commissioner for local government Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungun who represented governor, said the gesture is part of government effort to support the people of the state.
Sugungun who handed over the keys to the chairman of the association Alhaji Muhammed Maidoki Kwatalo at the venue charge them to support Jigawa state government policy and programme
He assured that the Jigawa state government will construct modern abattoirs in all the 27 local government areas of the state adding that all members of the association will be supported financially by the state government.
He also promise to always support the APC to canvas for votes in the nex general election of 2023
While responding the chairman of the association Alhaji Muhammad Maidoki Kwatalo advises the state government to expand the state main abattoir in the state,adding that the current abattoir in the state head quarter need total rehabilitation
Kwatalo call on the state government to assist their members with financial support to developed their business and also pleaded that the governor should put all their chief on monthly allowance for the betterment of their people.
He also thanks the Jigawa state government for the support given to various association in the state in the area of human development
Maidoki also stated that they are ready to support Gov Badaru in 2023 assuring that all PDP card bearing members have already dumped the party and have joined the ruling party they are now united.
