The Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Muhammad Achida has dumped his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and has joined the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.
Achida presented letter of his defection to the Assembly during the plenary session on Thursday April 14.
The Member of the state House of Assembly representing Wammako 2 Constituency, Murtala Bello Maigona also defected from the APC to the PDP.
