The Federal Government of Nigeria on Sunday extended its heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family, people, and Government of the United Arab Emirates over the passing of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Nigerian authorities the late President was a visionary leader, who will be remembered for his contributions to the economic development of the United Arab Emirates.
Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Francisca Omayuli in a statement said: “May his soul rest in peace and may God grant his family and the good people of the United Arab Emirates, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.
President Al Nahyan was the ruler of Abu Dhabi, and the supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces from 2004 to March 13, 2022, when he bowed to the cold hands of death.
