If you don’t want me to say the truth, don’t invite me to your program – Gov Ortom Tells Seun Okinbaloye

The Executive Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has thrown caution to the winds during his appearance in yesterday’s edition of Politics Today on Channels Television.

The governor while answering questions challenged Seun for not allowing him to express his opinions concerning the happenings in Nigeria.

Seun is said to have called the governor to order for making some extreme comments about the security in the country.

“Extreme thoughts are not for television like this.” the host told the governor.

However, Governor Samuel Ortom was angered by Seun’s remarks. He said he always have problems with Channels Television when it comes to freedom of expression.

“That is my problem with Channels Television. You always don’t want somebody to say the truth. If you don’t want me to appear on your program just tell me there is no need. I will also tell you the truth.

Things are going down. Nigeria is going down the drain under your watch as a television network and you don’t want us to say the truth.” Governor Samuel Ortom said.
