The Presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is back to the country after his vacation in faraway Dubai.
The former Vice president left the country shortly after clinching the presidential ticket at the PDP primary .
Raye24reporters, gathered that Atiku after his trip to Dubai also visited the United Kingdom (UK).
Atiku was welcomed by his supporters at the airport, who chanted “Atiku is coming” and “Welcome Daddy.”
The PDP presidential candidate is expected to attend the governorship rally of the party in Osun State today to rally support for the governorship candidate of the party, Ademola Adeleke.
Atiku would be in the company of the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, governors elected on the platform of the party and some party leaders.
Raye24reporters, had earlier reported that Atiku’s running mate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and Bayelsa State Governor, Duoye Diri have arrived in the state earlier for the rally which will be held at the Osogbo Township Stadium.
Atiku and the PDP would be hoping to win the governorship election in Osun State which will be held on the 16th of July.
