Jigawa Govt Employs Mobile Vet Doctors to Assist Fulani Cattle Rearers 

The Jigawa state government has purchased animal drugs worth N2,250,000 and distributed to commercial veterinary officers, selected from the various local government in the state to assist Fulani cattle rearers in taking care of their animals 

In the same vain, motorcycles were distributed to each veterinary officer by the Jigawa state government.

This was disclosed by the chairman of miyatti Allah Kautal hore Malam Umar Kabir Hadejia yesterday, while distributing the items at Limawa empowerment centre in Dutse.

According to Kabir, the aim of the project is to assist the Fulani students who has the qualification on animals lives stock to acquire job and also to assist the Fulani families in taking care of their animals so long they speak the same language they can explain to them better on any disease affecting their animals 

While distributing the drugs and machine the special advisers on empowerment Alhaji Jamilu Shehu Mujaddadi, said previously 50 groups of Fulani veterinary doctor have benefited with such project in line to assist cattle rearer in the state.

Adding that those selected, who benefited from the free motorcycles were selected from various communities which include Zadau,Buji, Dutse, Kukar, Mikiya, Jadado, Garbagal, Gezoji, Karshi, Karanjau, Madaki, Sankara, Kafin Hausa and Sule Tankarkar.

He further explained the distribution of items was done based on merit with intention to assist the Fulani cattle breeders in the state.

In his word the state director veterinary Malam AbduIlahi Birniwa, urge the beneficiaries to work judiciously with the materials they have received from the state government.

He also charge the beneficiaries not to engage in any surgery on animal but rather seek their knowledge for anyone who engage in such, the management will take action against such an individual.

He also warn the beneficiaries not to sale the material and items given to them for it will definitely assist them in their day to day activities 

He however, urge them to report their activities monthly to the ministry and further advise them to cooperate with the local government staffs of the ministry in discharging their duty.
