Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi has, disclosed why he visited Dunamis International Gospel Centre on Friday.
Mr. Obi, explained that he attended the church to fellowship and thank God.
He stated this while sharing some of the pictures of him at the church’s Mid-Year praise and worship night.
Earlier, Raye24reporters, reported that the LP’s flag bearer presence was greeted with reverberating ovation from members of the church.
The senior pastor of the church, Dr. Paul Eneche, during the service called the political leaders present in the church and asked them to say some words over Nigeria.
Eneche had invited Obi, the wife of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, Edith; Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State, among other political leaders in the country.
Shedding more light on his presence in the church, Obi stated via Twitter: “I spent an uplifting and exhilarating 8 hours of fellowship amongst fellow Nigerians @DunamisGospel 2022 Mid Year Praise and Worship, with @DrPaulEnenche, his family and other dignitaries.
“I used that auspicious occasion to thank God.
“God we have no other nation but Nigeria. Please deliver us. Please save us. Nigeria must not go down. Let your light shine upon this nation.” God is Good!”
