Former Chairman of Kuje Area Council, a former Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission representing Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign in the FCT, Danladi Etsu Zhin, has died at the age of 54.
A close aide to the deceased, Godwin Omonya, confirmed the death of the former Council Chairman on Sunday.
He said that Zhin died in the early hours of Sunday at a private hospital in Abuja after battling an undisclosed ailment.
Omonya, who was also the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the ex-Chairman, said Zhin was hospitalised for over a month.
He said the remains of the deceased have been deposited at a morgue in an Abuja hospital.
Zhin was a House of Representatives aspirant for the Abuja South constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 general election.
The deceased, who served two terms as the Chairman of Kuje Area Council, is survived by his wife, Mrs Paulina Etsu Zhin, with whom they had three boys and two girls.
Zhin will be buried on Wednesday, 9th November 2022, in his own home town, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
