Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has come under social media attack after a demeaning remark about the President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Lawan.
In a post on his verified Twitter handle on Monday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain said Lawan, despite his position, lack strong political negotiating power.
Garba tweeted: “Wallahi Ahmed Lawan’s political negotiating power is weak, despite his position.”
Garba made the post in reaction to a ruling by the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday which affirmed Bashir Machina as the APC candidate for the 2023 Yobe North Senatorial District election.
The court order was not favourable to the embattled Senate President president’s hope of seeking re-election in 2023.
Netizens, however, have countered Adamu Garba for his submission on Lawan’s loss. Many of them called the APC chieftain unprintable names.

“My God will disgrace and shame him. Lawan shame will be too cheap compared to old but extremely corrupt people like tinubu and Atiku.
Real Deals @SamRealtor01 – “You are a very corrupt fellow; God forbid you ever to hold any public office in Nigeria; you are a disaster in waiting.
