Shettima, while delivering his speech during the visit in Dutse Emirate Council yesterday, before the emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muhd Sunusi, promised to end insecurity disturbing the country if APC elected in 2023
Shettima, added that if voted into power by 2023 their Government will Drain river Chad to a minimal level to address the issue of annual flooding which usually destroys houses and properties in the country.
In the area of agriculture Shettima Promised to improve farming activities in the country by introducing new farming Technics to farmers, explaining further, he noted that his administration will address the issue of poverty by creating job opportunities to the teaming youth in the country.

In his response, the Emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muh’d Sunusi, during the visit in his palace said Shettima is their son because of their relationship with Borno Emirate for a long period of time because Dutse and Borno Emirate has the same roots of traditions.
The Emir added that the origins of Dutse Emirate are descendant of Ngazargamu from Borno which they usually called as Fulato Borno historically, he stated .
He explained that Shettima is their son because of that relation between the two Emirates secondly Shettima has the quality and capability to lead this country by 2023; “we know he has good image in our sight, which qualifies shettima to run for vice president of their country.”
According to Scale News Paper, during the visit Shettima visited Kazaure Emirate, Ringim Emirate, Hadejia Emirate and Dutse Emirate but Gumel Emirate the emir is out of the country for medical check-up
