2023: Community Head in Lagos Threatens Residents Who Will Not Vote Tinubu, APC

The Baale of Gbaara community (community head) in the Eti-Osa local government area of Lagos State has threatened residents against voting for Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Raye24reporters reports that in a purported audio recording, the man said members of the community who will not vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not be allowed to engage in any business or risk losing their business.

The Baale also threatened that community members who refused to vote for APC in the 2023 election will be sent out.

However, in a chat with LIB, the spokesperson of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the command is aware of the audio recording.

He added that the Baale will be invited to the police command on Monday, February 13, 2023,  for questioning.

What Tinubu Said At Kebbi APC Presidential Campaign Rally

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, praised Kebbi State residents for coming out to support his bid to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former Governor of Lagos State, his running mate, Kashim Shettima, APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; Governors Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara) and Prof. Babagana Zulum (Borno), all stormed Kebbi today for a presidential campaign rally in the state.

The APC presidential candidate, however, said his administration would continue to encourage such working relationships across the country if voted to victory in the 2023 elections.

Tinubu assured the people of Kebbi that he would revive the moribund Argungu fishing festival and boost major investments, including agriculture in the state.

During the electioneering event, Tinubu commended the state government led by Governor Atiku Bagudu for its exploits in rice production and how it created a close partnership between the state and Lagos
