The Director General Voice of Nigeria and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Osita Okechukwu, has claimed his party and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party are the same coins.
Osita made the statement during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Monday.
The Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, VON, also insisted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has nothing new to offer but is only hungry about returning to power.
While asking if Atiku Abukar will not also sell the country’s assets when he emerges as President, Osita said APC and PDP are the same, maintaining that Nigerians cannot distinguish between the two parties.
Okechukwu added he is only bothered about the ‘Obidients’ and ‘Kwankwasiyya’, the duo an acronym for the supporters of Labour Party, (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the New Nigerian Peoples Party, (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso.
He said: ”PDP has nothing new to offer. What they are doing is a hunger to come back to power. So they have nothing new. Will his excellency Atiku Abubakar turn a new leaf from how he sold what he sold?
“So Nigerians know PDP and APC, and nobody can distinguish us; it is the same coin.
Unless they are talking of the new ones like the ‘Kwankwasiyya’ and ‘Obedients’ – they are the ones I am bothered about; I am not bothered about PDP”
