Birniwa Legislative Council has inspected some ongoing and completed projects that is been executed by the local govt council as part of its oversight function for one year in office.
Some of the projects inspected includes, shops, modern classroom blocks, Friday prayer mosque, drainages, complete solar power house across the local govt area.
Speaking during the inspection the speaker, of the council Hon. Sale Amadi Karanka expressed satisfaction with quality of the projects and work that has been done so far.
Hon Sale Amadi Karanka, who hails the leadership style of the council chairman Hon. Umar Baffa Birniwa for the execution of such wonderful development projects that affect the lives of people directly, reiterate his legislative bid of continued relationship and maintaining of the cordial partnership with Local govt executives for development.
He then call on the people of the local govt area to continue with their extended support to the leadership under APC in the area and for the villages that benefitted to make sure they look after the projects against vandalizes.
Speaking further, he appreciated the effort of the local govt workers for sound and effective maximum administration approach.
The council has also reiterate its determination towards construction and , renovations of Friday and daily prayer mosque across the council.
The local govt council chairman Alh Umar Baffa Birniwa, who also spoke at the event gave the assurance when he received the state executive of the National Association of Jama,atul Nassarul Islam in his office Alhaji Umar Baffa, noted that his administration has renovated Birniwa Central Mosque, Izala Friday Mosque, Stangayar Liman, Stangayar Kudu, Fasgimari daily prayer mosque and one Mosque at each of the 11political ward in the area.
He explained that his council has constructed Friday Mosque at Kilbu and Matamu Villages respectively.
Meanwhile, the Jigawa State Secretary of Jama,atul Nassarul Islam, Ustaz Muhammad Ahmed Babangida, in his statement said they were in birniwa local govt inorder to express their gratitude to the council chairman for his effort towards supportng Da,awa and spreading of Islam.
He said the association has visited some of the wonderful projects executed by the council within his tenure in office.
Also in his speech the Birniwa local govt branch chairman of Jama,atul Nassarul Islam, Mallam Umar Uzairu commended the council chairman, for usual support he do gave the association in the activity of da,awa.
The chairman charge all the 28 health faculties across Birniwa local govt area to Open DRF account and other service sale points account to implement cashless policy system introduce by the CBN of Nigeria.
In his contribution, the representative of the State Ministary of Health Alh, Yusuf Usman Abubakar has said during a two day training workshop on cashless policy with the facility in charge and Jichma Focal Persons of Phc Birniwa. Yusuf Usman Abubakar said the state Ministary of Heath has intended to introduce the Cashless Operation System across all health facilities in the state.
In his statement he warn the faculty In charge to make sure they embrace the system as the ministry will not tolerate any payment of services at hand.
In his speech the Phc Manager, Usman Abdullahi call on the faculty in charges to give attention to the training workshop for proper implementation.
In a related development, Birniwa local govt council has purchased a brand New Toyota Corolla LE to the Office of the local govt Secretary.
The local govt council chairman, Hon Umar Baffa Birniwa, said the Vehicle was purchase for official duties of the local govt secretary.
He therefore, reiterates his council determination to provide better working environment to administration officers of the local govt.
