Jigawa Govt Spends N46.2 Million on Nomadic Education 

The Jigawa state Ministry of education, said it has spent over five million Naira to repairs broken table and chairs for Nomadic schools 

The board secretary Nomadic schools, Hajia Ramatu Muhd has disclosed in an interview with Mizani, with newsmen today in her office.

Ramatu, said the board has purchased 4200 schools uniform, 4200 schools sandals and 4200 schools bags others include 200 text books for the following subject each Mathematic, English, Basic Education, Basic Science at the cost of N37,200m.

Explaining further, she noted that fifty tricycles biscles, sun glasses and sun cream was purchased for disable and albinos at the cost of four million Naira 

She however, explained that the Jigawa state government has approved and released the sum of N239,640 million for 2023 projects 

In the area of challenges facing the Nomadic schools is high proliferation of nomad schools in all the communities across the 27 local govt areas of the state.

Secondly the issue of adequate teachers in all the nomadic schools the strength of junior staff is weak.

According to survey conducted by our medium, it was found out that the state has 418 nomadic school in the state but only 300 junior teachers were posted to the board the ration indicated that the teachers posted could not solve the problem.

She therefore appealed to the Jigawa state government to employ more qualified teachers that will teach in their respective schools so as to meet their demand.
