Woman whose husband vanished after giving birth to quintuplets gets N2m

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, has instructed that the sum of N2 million be given to Mrs Chidinma Amaechi who gave birth to a set of quintuplets two weeks ago.

Raye24reporters reports that the Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, made this known in her office on Monday, saying that Soludo approved the payment.

Recall that the Ebonyi woman, based in Anambra gave birth safely at Life Hospital Awka, after waiting on the Lord for eight years.

Chidinma, a ex-member of the National Youth Service Corps delivered three boys and two girls at the hospital.

Her husband, Mr Joseph Amaechi was said to have run away when he realised how many kids he fathered, but later returned.

Speaking on the state’s donation to the couple, Obinabo noted that the money which was currently being processed by the ministry was a token for the well-being of the quintuplets.

The commissioner said the support would be sent to the family immediately after the ministry was done processing it.

Friends and relatives earlier took t social media to celebrate the miracle birth and also congratulate the couple.

A Facebook user, Maryjane Chioma Agulonu said; “Congratulations girlfriend after 8 years of waiting. God is too faithful to fail.”

Okoye Ifeoma Obi wrote; “Women are strong mehnnnn, once Five Babies at once. Omo I tap ooo, na just two I want oo AA This is a Good News Coming Out Of Anambra State.
