An Osun businessman and hotelier, Ramon Adedoyin has been sentenced to death over the 2021 mysterious murder of a student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Mr. Timothy Adegoke.

Justice Adepele Ojo, Osun Chief Judge, who handled the case said Adedoyin, who is also the founder of Oodua University, Ile Ife, is to be hanged.

Recall that Timothy Adegoke, a Chattered Accountant with an Abuja-based company, had arrived at Adedoyin’s hotel, for preparation for his examination as Masters of Business Administration student of the OAU in 2021.

Timothy, a father of two who hailed from Eruwa in Oyo state, was however unreachable again after checking into the Hiton Hotel owned by Adedoyin.

His bloodied remains were however discovered in a shallow grave in a forest not far away from the hotel by men of the Osun command of the Nigerian Police Force.
