Davido: You Are A Serial Killer Looking For A Vehicle To Hide Under – Yesufu Blast Enraged Muslims

Popular Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu has implored her fellow Muslims faithfuls to do away with pseudo-anger and focus on being better adherents to the religion.

Yesufu stated this amidst the controversy surrounding a now deleted video shared on Twitter by Afrobeats superstar Davido.

In the video, some people were singing and dancing in front of a mosque.

This, however, did not sit with some Muslims faithfuls, who stated that the DMW boss had disrespected their religion.

Speaking via Twitter in a series of posts, Yesufu wondered why the same anger being exhibited was not replicated when terrorists murdered Muslims.

She urged her brethren to do away with their fake anger, adding that no one can disrespect Islam.

She subsequently urged Muslim faithfuls to educate people on the religion when sensitive situation arises instead of making threats.

She wrote, “You are ready to kill another person who has his religion as you have your religion on issue of your religion but the simplest injunction of your religion you fail to adhere to them. What hypocrisy!

“You are merely a serial killer looking for a vehicle to hide under

“Terrorists have been killing using the Islam. That has not gotten you outraged enough. That is not disrespect enough to you.

“Do away with the pseudo anger and fragile ego. Nobody can disrespect Islam. Islam does not need anyone. We are the ones who need Islam and for those of us who find ourselves Muslims we should realize it is a privilege and not a right and should be mindful and not be arrogant.

“Wherever there is issue you feel strongly about as a Muslim, use them as opportunities to enlighten and not to threaten.

“No one has monopoly of violence.

“Read the Hadith on how the Prophet (SAW) handled such issues. Therein is your guide not some mob induced action.

“As Muslims, let us turn the anger in ourselves. Let the anger be on how we have failed ourselves and the world. Let’s take responsibility and be the ideal!”
