The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has confirmed the death of a nursing mother who was shot by yet to be identified robbers.
Raye24reporters learnt that the nursing mother, a Fulani woman identified as Adijat, was shot by the unknown robbers on Tuesday around 10 pm at Oke-Akute area of Iba town in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State while taking her bath.
Confirming the death, the spokesperson of the Osun NSCDC Command, Adeleke Kehinde revealed that Adijat died on Thursday as a result of gunshot wounds she sustained.
Adeleke said, “The killers are yet-to-be identified but efforts are ongoing to apprehend those behind the incident with a view to bringing them to justice.”
