“Don’t insult us” Estate chairman return Ogun state government palliative (video)

The chairman of Sokeye Estate in Ogun state, in a video that has since gone viral online was seen speaking English and Yoruba, as he rejects the palliative sent by the state government to be shared for members of the estate to cussion the effect of subsidy removal my the federal government.

The chairman, who felt insulted by the rice brought by the government to be shared to residents of the estate, said is not up to a half bag and it will not go round so because of that he is rejecting and returning the palliative to the state government.

“I am talking to Dapo Abiodun for now am the chairman of Sokeye Estate am just at home now and they brought this for me as palliative fir the whole of Sokeye Estate in this estate, we 147 houses with families and tenants living their am confused now because I don’t know how to share this for 147 house holds in Sokeye Estate”.

“Am talking to the government now. If you people know you can’t do something don’t do it we are not hungry and we’re not beggers so we don’t need your rice as palliative. This is not even one bag and isn’t up to a half bag of rice”.

“If you want to give us palliative don’t insult us Sokeye Estate refused to be insulted”.

However, this is coming after the state government of Ogun state in an effort to cussion the effect of the removal of subsidy in the state, have distributed bags of rice to residents of the state
