A Facebook user, Bashir Shuaibu Umar, has shared before and after photos showing the transformation of a young man who was released from captivity on October 18, 2023, after enduring seven months in the hands of bandits.
Bashir who shared the photos on Friday revealed that the freed individual, identified as Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi, had been abducted by bandits during his journey to his hometown in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Sharing the before and after photos, he wrote, “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. How a young man has changed after 7 months in the hands of kidnappers.
“On 18/10/2023 Allah the Almighty has given this servant a way out of the hands of terrorists after spending seven months (7 months) in their hands.
“This young man named Abdulrahman Dan Gulbi who is a governor of gwam_gwam, he was taken along the road of gun to Dangulbi, Maru local government, Zamfara state, may God intervene between the wicked and the good. And these criminals claiming to be Muslims.”
