President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently presiding over the third Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting of his administration.
Raye24reporters reports that the FEC meeting, which began around 2:00 p.m., is taking place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
The meeting had the attendance of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila and ministers.
The Head of Service of the Federation, Olurwmi Yemi-Esan, Special Advisers as well as other top government functionaries were at the meeting.
Raye24reporters understands that this is the third edition of the meeting in the life of the Tinubu administration.
The inaugural meeting was held in August where new ministers attended to take their first brief from the executive arm on their roles and responsibilities in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The second FEC meeting took place last week Monday during which three new ministers were sworn in.
The FEC is a constitutional institution where government policies are discussed and endorsed by Ministers, with the President serving as the Chairman and the Vice President as the Vice Chairman.
