National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Felix Morka, has announced Tony Okocha as the chairman of the state caretaker committee.
Felix Morka announced the dissolution after a crucial meeting of the party’s highest administrative organ at the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja.
He added that the seven-man state caretaker committee will be inaugurated on Friday by the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Tinubu had earlier appointed Tony Okocha as NDDC board member representing Rivers State.
Okocha, an APC Chieftain also supported Governor Sim (PDP) in the last election.
Members of the caretaker committee are;
- Chief Tony C. Okocha – Chairman
- Chief Eric Nwibani – Secretary
- Hon. Chibuike Ikenga
- Prince Stephen Abolo
- Hon. Silvester Vidin
- Senibo Karibi Dan-Jumbo
- Miss Darling Amadi.
