A Port Harcourt-based teacher shared the heart melting letter she received from a student who accompanied it with a gift as an appreciation of her work.
A Facebook user identified as Akie Niibari took to the platform to share a thoughtful note from a student who welcomed her gracefully into the last month of the year, December.
The primary school student left a hundred naira note in his letter for the teacher to spoil herself while wishing her a happy new month.
The letter reads, “Happy new month to miss my best teacher. Good morning miss. Please open it you will see hundred naira. Please use the money and buy card. It is the last month, I need to dish you something. Only what I have is one hundred naira.”
Move by the thoughtful student’s note, the teacher took to social media to share the note while expressing how beautiful the note was to her.
“How do I repay this pupil? 🥺. This love is something else. 🥺 I got this package from a pupil I taught last term, she is now in basic 4 and still doing amazingly great. I am a classroom teacher, I’m loving this teaching job, 🤭,” she wrote.
