The Chief Executive Officer of Mother of Models International, Mrs. Jully Nnenna, has designed a television reality show 40& fabulous Naija, that will help bring out the untaped potentials in the life of Nigeria mothers that has clocked 40 and above.
According to her, the reality show, will be showing on AIT, NTA, DStv,GOtv, Startimes Zone, Free TV, Nollywood and others, which will sponsored by MTN.
Meanwhile, in the house, the selected women will under go different forms of training, skill acquisitions and mental rehabilitation that will assist them in discovering every hidden talents that has been resident on the inside of them waiting for expression.
She also noted that at the end of the two months, a winner will emerge and the winner will be empowered with 10 million, brand enforcement and other consolation price.
Nnenna at press briefing in Abuja on Monday, stated that the reality TV show which will be aired on both local and international TV channels, is poised on bringing back good morals and inviable characters in the society and not nudity.
She said ” Forty and Fabulous is TV reality show, is a show that will be aired in two months where the winner will get 10 million at the end of the day as a the winning price. Talking about airing, we can’t air on African Magic, AP, Show Max because we found it difficult to go into partnership with them in what we discovered later to be a plot to frustrate our TV programme which they have perceived to be competition”.
“People have been asking we saw your banner, post from last year saying that you’re going to air here and there now this is me clearing that if you ask me, am done shooting last year they ask me to hold on till January that they have taken enough content I thought it was the truth but later i discovered that it is not the truth because they have come out in the open to say I will never be there and me this is me telling the people and Nigerians”
” When you build a woman, you build the nation this show is targeted at women who are muti-talented but not sure of their career direction, it will also enable them regain back, what the hostile society has denied them, in terms of religion and ethic responsibilities, family pressure and life balacing effects.
“Forty and Fabulous will make a strong statement, showing that the world can be properly entertained without an iota of nudity and promisuity, which have characterized our recent reality show.”
Speaking further she added that the objective of 40 and Fab is to Help the multitasking woman to choose her right career amongst all her crafts, creation of platform to help depressed women with the 40 and above age bracket, giving emotional stability to women within the age of 40, who feels that their age is a barrier to their socio-economic growth, to empower the multi-talebted women, empowering the wellbeing of an average woman, building capacity of multi-talented women, cross breeding of talents and craft amongst women who are creative and economic reward to their crafts and setting them up to self-dependency.
” This axion has taken over today’s generation and people within the age bracket of 40 no longer allowing age come in between them and their happiness an American Psychologist, Walter Pit Ken, wrote “life begins at 40″ this philosophy triggered the mind and creative pixel of one international woman and she began to ask questions on why should a woman and above years old African woman retire as a baby factory, that has no need for social laxation and independent life style”.
“A woman should not shut the door of her creativity of slaughter it on the alter of family management.” She concluded
The Director of the show, Mr Daniel Chukwueze, who spoke on the technical aspect of the production, noted that production is a top-notch and it can compete with the international standard.
He said “As the director of the show, I need to talk about the technical aspect of the show which has been taken care off our technic in film is perfect and is technic that can stand out anywhere in the world we have done great jobs and we expect that by the time we begin to air, you will find out that 40 and Fabulous is going to be one of the best reality show you can find anywhere around Africa”.
“To consolidate what she has said about airing I begin to wonder why everything in Nigeria becomes political because from what we have, we expect that it should run on every channel so when people watch this show and think this show can not be aired in some certain channel, I begin to wonder because when it has to do with technicality we have all it takes, when it has to do with content creation is there, when it has to do with healing of the nation it is there, like she said when you build a woman, you’re building the entire country because the program is the there to advocate for woman, men and children is a show that cut across every sector of the society so is not segmented in anyway so i wonder why we should not show it an all channels that are available in Nigeria we are calling on Nigerians to appreciate shows like this in this country”.
On his own part, the Executive producer of the show Kennedy Ana while speaking on monopoly in the sector, noted that there will not be a healthy competition in the entertainment industry if monopoly is allowed to strive
“Why should we have things monopolized and why some individuals think they can hold the key to everything which isn’t fair in a common market”
“To record success in the entertainment industry, an open market most be allowed to be successful you need to have an open market where you will be allowed to sell your product for healthy competition and growth can only come through this healthy competition so having a monopoly over a reality TV or any industry at all doesn’t help growth and wish to encourage everybody to give the show a try and show that once you watch the show, You will realize why we are having the difficulty we are having our goal is to air this show in the biggest platform in the country and which for the monopoly, they’re making things difficult for us but at the moment the channels that will be airing this season will be made know to you so I encourage everybody to look forward to the next season” He concluded
