The Kano State House of Assembly has successfully cleared and approved the request of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, to appoint four commissioners.
In a press release issued to newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary on April 2024, a letter was addressed to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt Hon Jibrin Ismail Falgore, on 26/3/2024, requesting the honourable house’s approval to appoint four commissioners and members of the council of Kano State.
During the plenary session, the honourable members unanimously cleared and approved the four commissioner nominees.
Furthermore, Speaker Rt Hon Jibrin Ismail Falgore commends the outstanding quality of the nominees and urges them to bring their wealth of experience towards the development of Kano State.
The resolution passed today by the House of Assembly Kano State will be forwarded to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Eng Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the swearing-in of the four commissioner nominees and members of the executive council of Kano State.
However, the speaker reiterated the Kano Assembly’s commitment to collaborating with His Excellency, Eng Abba Kabir Yusuf, in doing his utmost best for the betterment of the Kano people.
The newly approved commissioners by the Kano State House of Assembly are Alhaji Abduljabar Umar Garko, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, Hon Shehu Usman Aliyu Karaye and Alhaji Mustapha Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
