There was civil unrest at the Dei Dei building material market along Kubwa-Zuba express, Abuja, on Wednesday.
Raye24reporters, gathered that the crisis started after a trailer allegedly crushed a woman to death after she fell from a commercial motorbike.
Properties worth millions of naira were also destroyed amidst the clash.
Shop owners were forced to close their shops to avoid being attacked.
Security operatives have been deployed as of the time of filing this report.
While reacting over the incident, Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the Police in the Federal Capital Territory. said the Police were yet to get full details on the matter.
“Right now, we are there and we are trying to calm the situation down,” Adeh said.
