Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual header of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, says there are no plans are ongoing to attack the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Bishop Callistus Onaga.
In a viral video during a recent protest by members of Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry, one of the parishioners, later identified as Elijah, threatened to kill Bishop Callistus Onaga of Enugu Catholic Diocese for shutting down the Adoration Ministry. The protesting parishioners were also seen chanting ‘Onaga Must go’.
The development has already attracted condemnation from the Pope.
Recalls that Bishop Onaga ordered the suspension of the ministry’s operation after Mbaka’s outburst against the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, naming him a ‘stingy man’.
