Alliance People Movement Elect New Executive in Jigawa 

The Alliance People Movement elect it’s executive in Jigawa state yesterday, Alhaji Isah Muhammed Ringim emerged as the state chairman of the party, the election which was held at NUJ Secretariat was conducted through consensus which he emerged as the chairman of the party in the state.

Alhaji Isah who was acting secretary of the party before but now unanimously endorsed as the chairman of the party by members of the party through consensus,

Others among the executive include Alhaji yahaya kuka who is the vice chairman and Hajia Habibi Ibrahim as the secretary of the party,

Ringim said the party is ever ready to participate in next coming election 2023 for the party to test it ability.

The chairman said APM is for women and youth to assist the young generation in the state.

He explained further that the party has its own structure in all the 577 political wards in the state in which it has representative in all of the political constituencies in the state.

Adding that their plan is to elevate women and youth from abjects poverty because, the party desire to see women and youth contesting for any political seat that they indicate their interest

He assured that APM is ever ready to allow women to contest for governor seat because no women contesting for governor seat in the state.

He explained that democracy is not yet mature in the country since there is no women among the gubernatorial race in Jigawa state,

Adding that women must be consider in politics explained further that if any women interested in the position of Governorship seat their candidate is ever ready to relinquish from his position.
