Professor Ango Abdullahi, elder statesman and Chairman, Northern Elders Forum, has lost his eldest son, Isah Ango Abdullahi.
Raye24reporters, gathered that Isah Abdullahi died after a brief illness.
According to a family source, Ango Abdullahi’s son died in Abuja on Thursday evening, adding that his corpse would be brought to Zaria today for funeral prayers.
The source told Daily Trust that the funeral prayers will be held at Haruna Danja Juma’at Mosque at about 1.30pm.
Until his death, Isa was a staff member of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.
He is survived by a wife and children.
