Dino Melaye, spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, has accused a sitting governor seeking re-election and senators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of electoral malpractice.
The former senator representing Kogi State made this known in a series of tweets on Friday.
According to Melaye, APC senators participating in the March 18th election are printing ballot papers and result sheets.
He further questioned how the election would be credible, fair, and transparent when candidates involved are already printing sensitive materials.
Melaye wrote: “APC senator printed ballot papers, another APC senator printed result sheets. How can this election be credible, fair and transparent? Yahoo Yahoo election indeed. SDM
“How can a person who is participating in an election be the one printing security and sensitive electoral material? A sitting Senator and gubernatorial candidate of APC.
“This is a clear case of conflict of interest. This is a clear violation of the theory of participation. SDM”
