Some chieftains and eminent leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have arrived in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for the party’s stakeholders’ meeting.
Raye24reporters reports that the crucial meeting is taking place at the lodge of the Bauchi State Governor in Asokoro, Abuja.
Some PDP chieftains that have arrived for the meeting include the 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar; the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Bala Mohammed; Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, and Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, among others.
The meeting is coming on the heels of a similar one which was held a fortnight ago at the Abuja residence of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tom Ikimi.
Members of the party’s National Working Committee, National Assembly caucus members, and representatives of the party’s Board of Trustees are expected at the meeting.
