Few Hours after the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar is in an emergency with Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
R24R, gathered that the meeting was called by Atiku, the presidential candidate of the PDP.
The meeting is reportedly holding at the PDP campaign headquarters, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja.
Notice of the meeting was signed by the Director General of the PDP Governors Forum, CID Maduabum.
The presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON requests a meeting with PDP Governors” the notice stated.
Although the notice did not specify the agenda, party sources told The Nation that the PDP stakeholders might have called the meeting to discuss the implications of the outcome of the APC presidential primaries.
Meanwhile, Tinubu had defeated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; ; Senate President Ahmad Lawan; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Governor David Umahi and many others.
