Barr. Maurice Oru Ebam, the former National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Interim Chairman Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria and National Youth Leader of Allied People Movement (APM) who also served as the past Social Secretary of the NBA Abuja YLF Unity Bar has congratulated the Honorable Minister of Sports Sen. Owan Enoh and our indomitable Super Eagles on a successful victory over the Bafana Bafana team of South Africa.
In a statement personally signed by him, Barr Ebam said, “Football doesn’t know religion, tribe or political affiliation, positing that he is celebrating distinguished Sen. Owan Enoh who is his tribes man and first ever Minister from his Local Government Area, Etung LGA of Cross River State and his ethnic group, the Ejagham nation, which is a minor ethnic group found in Cross River State, South South Nigeria.

Maurice Oru Ebam noted that he watched across board how football united Nigerians despite challenges facing the country and how Nigerians united in the spirit of Green White Green and patriotism cheering “while praying for the victory of our Super Eagles Nigeria we played the Bafana Bafana team of South Africa.”
“Congratulations to the Minister of Sports Sen. Owan Enoh and our Super Eagles on our qualification into the finals of the African Cup of Nations.
“Football is a universal language and the love of every African nation.
“Distinguish Sen. Owan Enoh aside serving as the Honorable Minister of sport to the Federal Republic of Nigeria also serves as a beacon of inspiration holding up high the flag for future generations of Etung sons and daughters both at home and in Diaspora.
