Benue Native Doctor Reportedly Commits Suicide 

Terhemen lorbee, who is identified as a native doctor has reportedly hanged himself in Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State.

According to Kemi Filani News, the incident happened at the wee hours of Saturday after his colleague found his body suspended from a rope tied round his neck.

The deceased father, Iorbee Ndyar and his eldest son, Fater Terhemen in separate chats with journalists, recalled that the colleague of the now deceased, Orduen Kerchen, brought him home around 10Pm.

Days after he was brought home, the deceased who is married to 3 wives, went missing Friday morning and was later found to have committed suicide by hanging himself.

When contacted, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene, said she was yet to receive the report of the incident.

“I’m also seeing the [suicide] pictures on social media, but I’ve not received the official report. I’m waiting for the Division to bring the report,” Anene said.
