Borno Flood: Adamawa Govt Donates ₦50 Million to Victims

The Government of Adamawa state, has generously donated ₦50 million and six speedboats to the Government of Borno State.

Raye24reporters learnt that Gov Fintiri made the donation to assist those affected by the recent flooding in the region.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, in a statement stated that during the governor’s his visit to Maiduguri, made the donation to Governor Babagana Zulum and called for additional support for the impacted communities.

He expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives and property, urging the federal government to take prompt action to remedy the situation.

Governor Fintiri, along with his Borno State counterpart, Governor Babagana Zulum, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, undertook a boat ride to evaluate the circumstances and extend their sympathies to the displaced individuals in the area.

Accompanying Governor Fintiri was Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur, members of the State Executive Council, and other associates.
