The Edo State House of Assembly, this morning impeached the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Philip Shaibu.
The House after their investigations arrived at a conclusion and had to, this morning, impeach the Deputy Governor over what they called “Gross Misconduct” bringing to a closure, the fight between Godwin Obaseki and Philip Shaibu.
With this impeachment, it is not clear what is next for the now former Deputy Governor, whose only sin was aspiring to contest for the position of Governor against the wish of his boss, Godwin Obaseki.
