President of the Nigerian Labour Congress Joe Ajaero has been reportedly arrested in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.
His arrest was said to have been carried out by security personnel during a protests by workers in the state.
It was learnt that in the course of the protests, some hoodlums attacked workers injuring them before Ajaero was whisked away in a security car.
