Pascal Okechukwu, Nigerian socialite
popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has reacted to his arrest and detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Raye24 earlier reports that the anti-graft agency arrested Okechukwu for alleged tax fraud and money laundering.
The commission had arrested him at the Lagos airport last Thursday and grilled him while the anti-graft agency was reportedly on the hunt for his accomplices.
It was gathered that EFCC during his grilling allowed only his wife and family members to see him.
He was, however, released by the commission after days in their detention.
Okechukwu while confirming his arrest by the EFCC in a post on his Instagram account on Monday wrote, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.
He called on his fans, well-wishers, and followers to resend their wishes for his birthday which he missed while he was in EFCC custody.
He wrote, “@officialefcc Tested Ok✅ Thank You Fam❤️ I Will Never Forget, What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger, Make Una Resend All My Birthday🎂 Wishes.”
