The Development Initiative for West African DIWA, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Federal University Dutse on Girl child Schilership research and publications.
Speaking at the event and the signing of the MOU held at the Senate building conference Hall of Federal University Dutse, the Vice chancellor of the university Professors Sabo Abdulkareem said, the institution’s door is always open to organisation and individual who want partners with the university on education social and economic development.
He explained that the university had signed MoU with many institutions of learning, companies, donor partners, civil societies and community organisations on various field which are positively impacting to the society.
“Such MoU is assisting our students, community, country and humanity in general to tackle socio-economic and environmental challenges around”.
Professors Sabo than commended DIWA for chosen FUD among the University they want to partner with in Nigeria and promised to ensure that the ultimate goals of the MoU are sustainably achieved.
On his own part, the Chief Executive Officer of the Development Initiatives for West Africa (DIWA) Mr Doud Kaneeh, said their organisation want partner with FUD on Innovations, exchange of Knowledge, expertise, research publications, water sanitation, health and scholarship particularly for girl the child with less previllage background.
Mr. Doud added that DIWA is nongovernmental regional organization working in various west African countries in the area of human and capital development.
He assured the vice chancellor that DIWA will be punctual and proactive in the area of collaboration signed in the MoU and calls for the appointment of desk officer to coordinate the activities.
