A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, has called on the people of Southwest not to protest against President Bola Tinubu.
Raye24reporters reports that many Nigerians have been gearing up for protests against the Nigerian government over the hardship in the country.
In a post via Facebook, Igbokwe said Tinubu is not a failure and has great plans for Nigerians.
According to him, some states in the Southeast and Southsouth will also not join any protest against Tinubu and those with the intention of protest should avoid Lagos for obvious reasons.
Igbokwe urged Nigerians to support Tinubu and pray for his administration.
He said, “Believe me: This man has a great plan for Nigeria. All he needs from us is our undiluted and unflinching support, trust him, encourage him, pray for him.
“Let no one expect any protest in the South West for obvious reasons: PBAT is not a failure.
“I know that some states in South South and South East may not join too. Those who want to protest should avoid Lagos for obvious reasons.”
