A fatal accident has occurred today, at Ifako inwards Ogudu Bridge involving a BRT Bus and a commercial bus.
According to report the commercial bus driver died at the scene of the accident while many passengers susstained injured.
Subsequently, an angry mob set the BRT bus ablaze.
Confirming the accident, spokesman for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) blamed the collision on the buses’ excessive speed.
The spokesman added that the BRT bus caught fire, aggravating the congestion along the axis, and the rain compounded the gridlock.
